How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

This is a simple online course that I created as a work sample using PowerPoint 2010, Articluate Presenter '09, and Quizmaker '09. I could also have done it in Camtasia. I recorded the audio narration in Presenter. I created and edited some of the graphics in Photoshop 6.0. I wrote the script with the ADDIE model using adult learning and instructional design principles.

Training For Excellence!

This work sample is a brief Train-The-Trainer course developed using PowerPoint 2010 for new trainers who have little classroom experience. I wrote the script with the ADDIE model using adult learning and instructional design principles.

Managing Generational Differences at DHSMV

This work sample was developed for a Research and Training Specialist position at the Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles (DHSMV). I wrote the script with the ADDIE model using adult learning and instructional design principles. Graphics were edited in Photoshop 6.0 and slides were created in PowerPoint 2010. The online course was produced in Camtasia Studio 6. Due to the limitations of Camtasia, the pop-up windows are not functional.

The Camtasia Studio video content presented here requires a more recent version of the Adobe Flash Player. If you are you using a browser with JavaScript disabled please enable it now. Otherwise, please update your version of the free Flash Player by downloading here.

Ethics for Senior Leaders

This face-to-face presentation was developed for a job interview using PowerPoint 2010 and Photoshop 6.0. I wrote the script with the ADDIE model using adult learning and instructional design principles.

New Employee Workshop (APD)

I developed and hosted this is an 8-hour classroom course at the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). I taught the Welcome, Icebreaker, Customer Service, and Training modules and handled all of the course logistics (registration, room set-up, scheduling speakers, certificates, learning management system records, etc.). Level I evaluations averaged between 4.0 and 5.0!

Performance Evaluation

I developed this for three sessions my supervisor presented to managers while I ran the webinar for field offices. I handled all of the course logistics (registration, room set-up, certificates, learning management system records, creating the Webex meeting, etc.).

New Employee Workshop (DCF)

This is the original New Employee Workshop that I developed at the Department of Children and Families. It was a 4-hour classroom course that I taught to new employees within their first 90 days. Level I evaluations averaged between 4.0 and 5.0!

Customer Service

I taught this interactive 3-hour course, titled Focus on Service, every quarter to new employees. The script was developed by an instructional design contractor. Level I evaluations averaged between 4.0 and 5.0!
